I used to use DVD Flick but now you have to pay/donate to get it working, so I would like to know which app works just as good or better. Thankyou to all who read and reply.

The FilmMachine will do the trick. For highest quality use CCE as the encoder.

I have been using ConvertXtoDVD with multiple files (avi., rm., even vob.) with great results.

Converxtodvd is my choice. Has been in production for a long time and is being constantly updated.
Easy to use with excellent results.

Just carry on using last FREE version of DVD Flick, works fine and nothing I've tried does as good a job in as quick a time unless you go the Film Machine + CCE route but frankly that's a waste of time on so many of the .avi's out there IMHO because the quality is not brilliant to start with. Poor in = Poor out, whatever tool you use.

Weird, had dvdflick 1.3.0.4 on my comp and it wouldn't start, kept asking me to donate. Uninstalled it and installed dvdflick 1.3.0.7, now all is good and not asking me to donate?
