O&O UnErase V4 released: Recovers deleted Files - in Seconds

The new version of the proven data recovery product O&O UnErase provides Windows users with a simple way of recovering files that were already presumed lost. In cases where no backup copy has been made, users can now fall back on O&O UnErase and those important or even irreplaceable files can be recovered.

Berlin, April 27, 2006 - O&O UnErase V4 is the new generation of O&O Software’s proven data recovery product under Windows. Within seconds, O&O UnErase finds out where deleted files are and restores them with the push of a button. Their original filenames and directory structure are also completely restored.

These days, most data are deleted either by mistake or through the attack of a computer virus. If no backup has been made, important files and irreplaceable photos could be lost forever. Windows does not offer a viable solution to restore deleted files. As soon as the Recycle Bin is emptied, all data contained disappear for good, or so it seems. With O&O UnErase users can instantly locate and restore those important documents, photos, or movies.

With the help of new search algorithms it is now possible to successfully restore more files than ever before. With the Advanced Search facility from O&O UnErase you can apply specific chosen parameters for a faster and more precise search.

The intuitive user-interface gives even inexperienced users the possibility of quick and easy data recovery. With a file structure similar to Explorer, users can navigate their way through their deleted data as though they were already available. Single files or whole directories can then be recovered with just the push of a button.

New search functions create one-of-a-kind possibilities for optimizing searches. Whether you are searching for data on a hard disk, USB stick, or even on a digital camera, O&O UnErase supports all Windows compatible data storage media. New to Version 4 is the additional search for text within deleted files, supporting the Unicode format for the first time.

Highlights of O&O UnErase V4:

Restoration of files and directories
New and fully overhauled search Algorithms for maximum recovery success
New search for text within deleted files supporting Unicode
Supports all Windows file systems (FAT, FAT32, NTFS und NTFS5) on all hard disks, removable media, floppy drives, memory cards (i.e. USB sticks), and most digital cameras
Advanced options for tailor-made searches for specific deleted files
Includes O&O InstantUnErase for a direct start from CD ROM
Simple and intuitive user interface similar to that of Windows Explorer
O&O UnErase is compatible with Windows XP, 2003, 2000 and NT and is available in three versions. The recommended sales price for O&O UnErase V4.0 Personal Edition for home users is US$ 29.95 (Upgrade US$ 19.95) and for the Admin Edition US$ 193.20. Furthermore, companies providing a data recovery service can purchase the Tech Edition at a cost of US$ 450.00.
